Montreuil Sur Mer Aire

Mad panic at home meant that despite massive traffic jam on M25 and dangerously high water temperature in the vans engine we arrived at Dover early and managed to get onto an earlier ferry.

We have been asked by the long queues of French drivers to name the van Le Escargot, which seems fair as we only manage 20 mph up long hills.

Some interesting shutters

Our home for the night Montreuil Sur Mer Aire

The French take a lot more pride in their towns than we do.

The chap on the horse is General Haig. The town is walled and full of interesting old buildings.

Rather interesting machine on the battlements for disposal of unwanted items.....

Not sure about the mole connection, but was a nice planter.
